Welcome to Friday Fiction as well! Just so you know - the 5 mins isn't your limit of how much you are 'allowed' to write - its there so you don't spend 20 mins editing and rewriting and fussing adn then write for 1 min and go back and edit etc.... In saying all of this - you have done brilliantly - the use of first person carrys the tempo along at the hurried pace, urging the reader to keep up.
